Why is there so much smoke?

Because your wick is too long! Always remember to trim the wick of your candles to 5mm in length!

Can I recycle my Olēre candle container?

Yes, of course you can! Contact us once you’re done with your candles to get a discount code for doing your part by being environmentally friendly!

How should I store my candles?

Candles should be stored in a cool environment, room temperature or below, if possible. This will prevent the wax from softening, bending, or melting.

Always remember to close the candle with a lid to prevent the coloraturas and scent from fading.

What is the expiry of the candles?

At Olēre, we make use of natural ingredients to curate each candle. The product life cycle of our products is dependent on natural factors.

We suggest keeping your candles in a cool and dry place. All our products will typically last for an average of 9 months.

Is there a recommended burn time for my candles?

If you want your candles to burn evenly and last as long as possible, you have to light it for about 3 to 4 hours the first time you burn it.

Why is it tunneling?

You did not let it burn long enough the first round.

What are the benefits of Beeswax?
1. Environmentally Friendly – can burn with peace of mind
Beeswax burn clean and produce little smoke because they’re not oil-based. They are natural, not undergo chemical processing, don’t pollute the air and don’t emit synthetic counterpart of harmful chemicals. Paraffin wax is petroleum-based while soy and palm wax are derived from plants but both have to be processed to obtain wax. Production of beeswax is in its raw state and doesn’t have to go through bleaching or hydrogenation.

2.Cleansing and Purifying the Air – making your home healthier
Beeswax candles produces negative ions which will neutralize the “positive ions” such as allergens, dust, and air borne toxins, making the particles too heavy to float and drop to the ground.

3. More Cost Effective – longer burning time
Beeswax candles are more expensive per candle, but they are much more cost-efficient because they have higher melting point and burn stronger and brighter.
4. Support small businesses and healthier agricultural environment.

Unlike palm wax or soy wax, which are being sourced from big plantation companies. Beeswax are sourced from smaller companies or beekeepers that keep colonies of bees. Bees plays an important role in the agricultural system.
